Wed. is the "Acoustic Singer/Songwriter Showcase" at KATMANDU (50 Riverview Executive Park Trenton NJ) this week starting at 6:30pm. There are drink specials and the kitchen stays open til 9pm. Admission is free, 21 and older unless accompanied by an adult of the proper age.
If that's not your style, then visit the ALL CALL INN on Weber Ave. in Ewing NJ for the acoustic guitar covers of TIM LYNCH and MIKE KOPLINER. Drink specials feature $1.50 domestic and $2.00 imported pints. Show starts at 9pm, is 21 and over and there is a $3.00 cover charge. TERRY LODA of DEAD SCENE PRODUCTIONS is the featured barkeep at this event.
Friday 6/25, JO WYMER and some members of the ITTY BITTY BAND will be on the boardwalk at the SAND WITCH located on 3rd and Ocean Aves. in Asbury Park NJ.
Also on Friday evening, KIM YARSON, SANDY ZIO, and LAURA CHEADLE are doing a house concert in Princeton NJ. Hit up any of them on facebook for more details. If you wish to attend, you must act quickly as tickets are scarce and time is running out to buy the few tickets that are left.
Saturday 6/26, I'll be playing as a member of the "Whoever Shows Up" band along side of LAURA CRISCI as she takes to the arcade area of Convention Hall at 6:30 pm as part of a benefit for "MARY'S PLACE." This organization helps and aides women with breast cancer. Following LAURA will be LISA BOUCHELLE at 7pm. This event can be viewed by the public, but to go inside; tickets are $65 which includes cocktail hour, full dinner buffet, and entertainment by several bands, headlined by GARY U.S. BONDS.
On a closing note; I'd like to congratulate my son CLINT D. COLEMAN on his graduation from Steinert High School last evening. I hope that he follows his dreams, and that they all come true. I also wish him well and the best of luck as he enters the Culinary Arts Program at Mercer County Community College this fall. I am extremely proud of his accomplishments as well as his development into a fine young man.
